I've missed some of your recent ones. Have you decided to leave all this goodness for Syracuse?

We should have an update on Syracuse very very soon. :)

Great! I really like the third one from the left in the top row. What and where is it?

We did an (cough, geek!) self-guided architectural walking tour of Brooklyn Heights. I don't think that bldg had any significance, but I took the pic to remind me how much I like black accents on white.

And soon the boat trips will start again and there will be further photo opportunities!

From another geek: How did you do the self-guided tour? Was it from a book?

Have you tried the cell phone walking tours of lower manhattan?

From a book Alex had, though we'd love to get another for NYC if anyone has any recommendations. When we were in Paris, we did a different one every day, loved them. (We also ate a ton of pastries and fatty lattes en route and each lost about 3 pounds!)

Oh too funny! I grew up in Brooklyn Heights; Hicks and Willow Streets, to be precise. Isn't it a great area? Did you make it to Montague Street and to the Promenade?

i could stand to live up there, if they would let me live in one those bridges.
